In line with the annual celebration of World Philosophy Day, Saint Louis University’s (SLU) New Louisian Philosophical Society (NEOLOUPHIS) celebrated Philosophy through Project Pilosopo Kuwago in one of their target communities’ celebration of the National Children’s Month.
The Saint Louis University (SLU)– New Louisian Philosophical Society (NEOLOUPHIS) of the Philosophy Department of the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) was featured and recognized on the official Facebook page of Barangay Lourdes Extension Subdivision, Baguio City for the children’s music and play teaching/tutorial outreach activity conducted on 15 November 2025. The event held was part of the organization’s Project Dunong – an outreach initiative under Project Pilosopo Kuwago that aims to enrich the minds of the youth.
The Philosophy Department of Saint Louis University’s (SLU) School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA), in partnership with the New Louisian Philosophical Society (NEOLOUPHIS), organized a lecture-workshop titled “Power and Accountability: How the Government Uses Its Power and Why Honesty Matters” on 29 October 2025 at Saint Francis Xavier Orientation Seminary, Baguio City.
SLU STELA Philosophy professor, Dr. Danilo S. Alterado, participated in the Global Philosophy of Religion Project: Philosophies of Appropriated Religions in Southeast Asia Workshop held at Century Park Hotel, Manila, on November 12, 2022.
