On October 21, 2022, Team Parkadas of Saint Louis University topped the 2022 Philippine StartUp Competition 7 Regional Pitching held at University of the Cordilleras.
Team Parkada’s innovative app, eParada, was selected as the best startup entry. The said app allows motorists to easily locate available parking spaces in the vicinity and, in turn, help solve parking and traffic problems.
The other winners are Team Sombrero from SLU (1st Runner Up) and Team Sustenekids from UB Science High School (2nd Runner Up).
The Philippine StartUp Competition (PSC) is an annual startup competition aiming to encourage and inspire Filipinos to develop innovative and relevant ICT products and services that are also viable business ventures and can solve social problems. The initiative aims to promote ICT entrepreneurship among Filipinos and ensure the continual creation of investible ideas and startup founders that will liven the local ecosystem. It is open to submissions of software and IoT (Internet of Things) related entries.
