This game was witnessed by several Louisian students, employees and alumni, who cheerfully watched the game between the two teams. Consequently, the SLU Louisian community enjoyed the sportsmanship and entertainment shown by both teams during the game.
In an interview, Zamboanga Valientes game leader, Den Cheng, expressed that he had a great time during the exhibition game.
The Zamboanga Valientes prevailed in the game with a 96 to 77 victory.
Despite the loss, the Athletics and Fitness Center, specifically the SLU Basketball team is looking forward to more exhibition and tune up games with collegiate and professional basketball clubs in order to continue to develop the skills and performance of the SLU student athletes.
