The Young Entrepreneurs’ Society (YES) of Saint Louis University (SLU) hosted the Entrep Expo 2023 from 7 February to 9 May 2023 (every Wednesday) at Devesse Plaza. This event provides a platform for students to apply the concepts and skills they have learned in their business program.
Youth Entrepreneurs’ Society once again conducts the Entrep Expo for 2023 after their successful first Entrep Expo last year from 19 October to 9 December 2022. The event was organized by the Young Entrepreneurs’ Society as a platform for fourth-year entrepreneurship students to present their small businesses to other students and get valuable company development, marketing, and sales experience.
Students can receive real experience in marketing, sales, and business development by participating in the Entrep Expo. Furthermore, the event provides students with the opportunity to network with possible consumers, investors, and business partners, which can be critical in creating and expanding a successful firm.
Targeting the Sustainable Development Goals SDG 4 Quality Education, SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals for this event to form greater partnerships with industry professionals, investors, and other stakeholders in order to provide students with more exposure and possibilities, and to add a sustainability focus, encouraging students to develop ecologically and socially responsible firms.
