The Young Entrepreneurs’ Society embarked on its second Team-building Series from 2 March to 5 May 2023 to nurture a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. The activity occurred at the Raphael Desmedt Athletic Oval, Maryheights Campus, creating an environment where team members were encouraged to share ideas, embrace risks, and work collectively to conquer intricate challenges.
The essence of this initiative was to instill a shared language and a set of practices that fostered trust and mutual respect among the participants. By engaging in a series of designed activities and exercises, team members honed their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Beyond the boundaries of traditional team-building, the event also encouraged attendees to prioritize physical well-being. Participants had the chance to learn about healthy lifestyle habits, which contributed to an overall improvement in physical health among those involved.
The team-building series was aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being; SDG 4 – Quality Education; SDG 5 – Gender Equality; and Sustainable Cities and Communities.
