The SAMCIS – Young Entrepreneurs’ Society’s Business Training Series 1, themed “Mindset in the Entrepreneurial Journey,” provided its members with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in business via Zoom.
The Young Entrepreneurs’ Society (YES) of the School of Accountancy, Management, Computing and Information Studies (SAMCIS) initiated Entrep Blast, a pitch aimed at preparing 3rd year entrepreneurship students for their upcoming Business Plan Implementation in their 4th year.
The Young Entrepreneurs’ Society embarked on its second Team-building Series from 2 March to 5 May 2023 to nurture a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. The activity occurred at the Raphael Desmedt Athletic Oval, Maryheights Campus, creating an environment where team members were encouraged to share ideas, embrace risks, and work collectively to conquer intricate challenges.
Fourth-year Entrepreneurship students of the School of Accountancy, Management, Computing, and Information Studies (SAMCIS) of Saint Louis University (SLU) were invited to sell and promote their businesses at Silang Building, Main Campus, on 6 March 2023, in line with SLU’s Wellness and Family Day. The event provided a valuable opportunity for the students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and connect with potential customers.
The YES actively participated in the SAMCIS event FRIENDS Career Fair with the theme, “Local Talents for Global Markets” at the Bishop Carlito Cenzon Sports Center. The fair was held in partnership with Erasmus Friends and was initiated for all graduating Lousian students of the first semester for the school year 2022-2023.
SAMCIS student organization Young Entrepreneurs’ Society (YES) held a successful membership drive at the Devesse Plaza to encourage new members to join the organization and offered a range of membership benefits, such as access to networking events, business development resources, and mentorship opportunities.
