The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on May 31, 2023, that 2,239 out of 7,376 (30.36%) passed the May 2023 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE). Out of the top ten performing CPALE examinees, Louisian Neftali Blase Guevarra Suarez from the SLU School of Accountancy, Management, Computing, and Information Studies is Top 7, with a rating of 88.17.
The CPALE was given by the Board of Accountancy on May 21, 22, and 23 in Manila/NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The 3-day examination covered the following subjects: auditing and management advisory services, taxation and regulatory framework for business transactions, financial accounting and reporting, and advanced financial accounting and reporting.
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online on July 12 – 14, July 17 – 21, and July 24 – 25, 2023.
