The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced, on 29 August 2023, that 242 out of 351 passed the August 2023 Mining Engineer Licensure Exam (MELE) given by the Board of Mining Engineering on 22-24 August 2023.
Sarah Genese Cabilangan of the Saint Louis University- School of Engineering and Architecture is the 7th top-performing examinee with a rating of 85.35%.
Testing locations for the Mining Engineer board exam were NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi.
