Saint Louis University Quality Management Executives Dr. Roberto M. Arguelles, Vice President for Finance and Quality Management Head, and Dr. Stephenie O. Busbus, Chair of Institutional Reputation and Effectiveness are resource persons in the Executive Conference on 27 September 2023 in Quezon City. This was in response to the invitation of the Commission on Higher Education – Mindoro Oriental & Occidental, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan (CHED-MIMAROPA).
With the theme, “Fostering Growth and Relevance of MIMAROPA Higher Education through International Quality Assurance (IQA) and Continual Quality Improvement (CQI) towards Internationalization,” the objective of the conference is to facilitate meaningful discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions among key stakeholders in MIMAROPA’s higher education sector. In line with this, Dr. Arguelles shared pertinent insights on “IQA and CQI: Gateways to Internationalization” while Dr. Busbus discussed “Internationalization: The Roadmap to Fostering Growth and Relevance of Higher Education Institutions.”
The events and lectures held during the Executive Conference focused on the role of IQA, CQI, and internationalization in MIMAROPA higher education. Participants of the conference include Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs, Quality Assurance Directors, and International Relations Officers.
The conference also dedicated significant time for a networking session with fellow academicians and institutional representatives which encouraged participants to connect and collaborate on strategies to advance the quality and international efforts of higher education institutions, especially those in MIMAROPA.
