Saint Louis University Bachelor of Multimedia Arts (BMMA) student Aldrin Sally was among the Top 12 in the recently concluded Black & White Photography Contest hosted by Venus Parkview Hotel with the theme “Pride of Baguio, Pride of the Cordilleras,” showcasing the beauty of Baguio and the Cordilleras through the lens of local photographers, 25 October 2023.
Inspired by his own childhood memories of playing at the playground, Sally’s entry, titled “Nostalgia,” depicts children playing at the playground in Kalkalan, Upper Pinget, Baguio City.
“Nostalgia” was one of the 190 entries selected for display out of the more than 300 entries submitted. The Top 12 entries were then selected from the displayed entries. The exhibit of the selected entries will run from 22 to 29 October 2023 at Venus Parkview Hotel.
The Black & White Photography contest was open to professionals and student photographers, and accepted entries that highlighted scenery, lifestyle, places in Baguio, and iconic spots in the Cordilleras.
