Indeed, the first day of games and competitions proved the event’s devotion to display of excellence not only with athletic sports but with academic and cultural displays of brilliance, as multiple universities and teams have already taken home their Gold honors for this year’s Friendship Meet. The teams and participating CICM schools showed enthusiasm and unwavering spirits to each and every game, with the energy from the players to the coaches and audience resulting in a festive ambience.
The participating CICM schools, while set on putting their universities and institutions on top, look to practice and cultivate the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie as they compete with their sister schools for the rest of the event for the following days.
