Jeonjusunflower Rotary Club of Korea and Sungsil Inc. extended their generosity to the young patients of Saint Louis University – Sacred Heart Medical Center (SLU-SHMC) by delivering charity goods on 05 September 2024. This initiative aimed to bring joy and comfort to children, continuing the Jeonjusunflower Rotary Club’s ongoing efforts to support those in need.
During the visit, delegates brought a variety of charity goods, including school supplies and clothing. Company CEO Jeong Tae Doo, Park Yeon Sook, alongside Dr. Paul Adlai B. Quitiquit, MHA, Hospital Administrator; Dr. Danilo Jr. Flores, MD, DBPO, FPAO, Medical Director; Mr. Fidel M. Bautista, RN, OIC Chief Nurse; and Dr. Aldren R. Remon, RN, Chief Patient Experience Officer, organized the event and distributed the supplies with great care and enthusiasm. This collaborative effort not only highlighted the spirit of Rotary Club’s service, but also showcased the dedication of the medical staff to the well-being of their young patients.
The heartwarming event underscored the importance of solidarity and the significant impact of such acts of kindness on those in need. Through their compassionate efforts, Jeonjusunflower Rotary Club of Korea and Sungsil Inc. contributed to improving the quality of life and well-being of young patients, showcasing the enduring power of generosity and community support, which is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3, Good Health and Well-Being.
