The SLU Association of Geodetic Engineering Students (AGES) recently wrapped up a successful Louisian GEving Back program, a meaningful initiative that originated from the alumni of SLU-AGES. This program displays the Alumni purpose, together with AGES assistance, to give back to their alma mater by supporting the 24 past SLU-AGES members who took the Geodetic Engineering Licensure Examination (GELE) 2025, which was held last September 29-30, 2025, at the PRC-CAR office, Otek Street, Baguio City.

Saint Louis University (SLU) participated in the Diocesan Prayer March and Holy Mass Against Corruption Campaign on 07 October 2025, together with various parishes and schools under the Diocese of Baguio. SLU students and employees, led by University President Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD, were among the thousands who joined the event organized by the Diocese.

The Filipino Leaders in Advancing International Reputation (FLAIR) Masterclass in CAR: Upscaling Programs and Projects, Leveraging Internationalization and Futures Thinking (UPLIFT 2025), organized by the Commission on Higher Education–Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED–CAR) in collaboration with SLU and the Cordillera Association of International Relations Officers (CAIRO), concluded on 01 October 2025 by recognizing Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the region for significant accomplishments in global university rankings.

In a move that fortifies the university’s commitment to excellence in education as a significant contribution to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on Quality Education, the School of Advanced Studies (SAS) [tag] of Saint Louis University (SLU) turned over a collection of the most recent theses and dissertations to the Baguio City Public Library [tag] last 16 September 2025.

SLU AGES kicks off Membership Drive to strengthen student community and promote leadership

The SLU Association of Geodetic Engineering Students (AGES), committed to building an active and companionable student community, recently wrapped up a successful membership drive that involved the registration of old and new registrars from different years and programs who wish to become a part of the organization. The event was successfully held at the front of the GE Faculty Room on the first floor of Otto Hahn from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM & 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM from August 11 to August 15, 2025.
