On July 26, 2024, Saint Louis University (SLU) co-hosted the 11th Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU) Conference in Thailand, marking another significant collaboration between the two institutions: HCU, Thailand and SLU, Baguio City Philippines. The event, themed “Research to Serve Society”, was co-organized by the University Research and Innovation Center (UNRIC) team of SLU, with six faculty members flying to Thailand to participate in the face-to-face conference and present their research papers.

I am quite sure that all eighteen of us as fellow scholars and cohort members from nine regions across the world knew how real this was during the 2024 Study of the United States Institute (SUSI) on Journalism, Technology, and Democracy hosted by Arizona State University (ASU).
Spearheaded by the Taiwan Education Center in the Philippines, the 2024 Taiwan-Philippines Medical University Leaders’ Forum was held from 7-10 May 2024 in Taipei, Taiwan and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Thirteen (13) Philippine medical schools were invited to participate in this event; which included our very own Saint Louis University – School of Medicine (SLU-SOM), represented by Dr. Judrelle Krizia C.
