Saint Louis University (SLU) extended its warm welcome to the representatives of another Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM) school, Junshin Gakuin High School, on 06 November 2024.
University President, Rev. Fr. Gilbert Sales, CICM, PhD, greeted the administrators and students of Junshin Gakuin High School. The guests were also given the opportunity to tour around the SLU Main Campus, visiting various offices including the SLU Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA) and SLU Fr. Joseph Van den Daelen, CICM- Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA) Theater. As part of their visit at the CCA Theater, the international attendees watched a performance by the SLU CCA Dance Troupe.
The Junshin Gakuin High School delegation will explore more of SLU Basic Education School (SLU-BEdS) until Saturday, 09 November 2024. This four-day undertaking is a collaborative initiative between the two CICM institutions to further cultivate the learning experience of their students, faculty members, and the broader communities.
