In order to strengthen and expand human rights protection initiatives, Saint Louis University (SLU), through its School of Law (SOL) and the Chief Justice Manuel V. Moran Community Legal Assistance Office (CJMM CLAO), The Asia Foundation (TAF), and partners officially launched the Human Rights Hub in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) dubbed as ‘Semek’ on 9 June 2025.
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) – Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) recognized the achievements of the participants in the KABADANG Research Publication Project during the 31st CHED Founding Anniversary and 5th National Higher Education Day held on 28 May 2025 at the CHED Regional Office -CAR, Cabanao, Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet. Among those honored were Louisian faculty members Prof. Genevive Claire B. Antonio, PhD, Prof. Sheila Marie C. Magat, PhD, Engr. Marcelino N. Lunag, Jr., PhD, and Engr. Maria Corazon De Guzman Ocampo.
As the school year comes to an end, so does the second cycle of the SLU- Sunflower Pedagogical Development Center’s (PDC) Parenting Pathway. The parenting workshop held on 24 May 2025 marked the program’s 6th event in the AY 2024-2025.

On 5 April 2025, SLU Marketing Mixer’s (MM) with CEOPO and the Compassion Company, launched Mission Chikiting: a month-long outreach program supporting children near the Baguio Dumpsite in Barangay Dontogan. Aiming to boost well-being and reduce inequality, the initiative includes weekly visits, school supply donations, and community-based activities.
