The School of Law (SOL) of Saint Louis University (SLU) conducted a two-day colloquium on Public International Law from 21 to 22 November 2023 at the Fr. Joseph Van den Daelen – Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA) Theater. The event featured discussions by renowned experts on international law and provided a forum for law students and faculty from Baguio and Benguet to engage in discussions on critical global issues.
Saint Louis University (SLU), in partnership with the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines–Cordillera Administrative Region (CEAP-CAR), hosted the SALAMAT SANA Session where Catholic Schools’ administrators, teachers, students, and parents or alumnus as stakeholders gathered to listen to their sentiments and ideas. In line with combating the rising prevalence of diabetic retinopathy and related vision-threatening conditions, the Rotaract Club of Baguio Saint Louis University – School of Medicine (SLU-SOM) took center stage in a collaborative health initiative. Partnering with the Baguio Eye Doctor’s Clinic, headed by Dr. Ars Mondiguing, and Middle Quezon, represented by Dr. Anna Banta, District Health Officer, Rotaract SLU-SOM assisted in the recent Diabetic Retinopathy Screening and free reading glasses giving in October 2023.

In response to the invitation of the City Government of Baguio through the office of the Hon. Levy Lloyd Orcales, two faculty members of Saint Louis University served as speakers and facilitators for the youth leadership training entitled,”Y-Build Baguio: Creating Leaders, Not Politicians.”
The 3-day CEAP-CAR seminar workshop, “Upgrading Learning Delivery of Private and Catholic Schools,” provides CPD credit units for all attendees.
