SLU NEOLOUPHIS and CCW conduct skill-building workshop on supporting vulnerable populations

On 21 October 2025, the New Louisian Philosophical Society(NEOLOUPHIS), the co-curricular organization of the Philosophy Department of Saint Louis University’s (SLU) School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) conducted a workshop seminar in collaboration with the SLU Center for Counseling and Wellness (CCW) with the theme, “Empowering Student Leaders: A Workshop on Building Skills for Supporting Vulnerable Populations.” 

SLU RAC Strengthens Community Engagement Through Dental Mission and Cultural Advocacy

Promoting both public health and cultural awareness, the Rotaract Club of Saint Louis University, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Eastern Pampanga, Pines City College of Dentistry, and the Sangguniang Kabataan of West Modernsite, conducted a half-day Dental Mission on 12 October 2025, at the West Modernsite Barangay Hall. The initiative aligned with the Rotary Year’s theme, “Unite for Good,” which highlights the importance of collaboration and collective service for the community.

SLU JPIA gathers for a Day of Fellowship, Leadership, and Advocacy

On 11 October 2025, the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants of Saint Louis University (JPIA-SLU) successfully held its General Assembly titled “Avisala: Ang Unang Pagtitipon” at the Devesse AVR and Desmedt Oval of the Maryheights Campus. The Encantadia-themed General Assembly has brought together over 200 student members for a full day of activities to nurture academic excellence, strengthen camaraderie, and promote leadership development. The program was thoughtfully structured to engage participants in meaningful and enjoyable experiences, from the opening remarks to the closing ceremonies in the late afternoon.

A postcard of light: SLU Talged Center ignites creativity in Postcard Making Matchstick Session

On 08 of October 2025, the Saint Louis University (SLU) Talged Center hosted Matchstick Session 4 titled “Fragments and Frames into Postcards of Wonder” In this crafty postcard making session that envisions to experience fun and establish connections, art is seen through a mixed media approach.The session was an avenue for personal therapeutic art expression and a breather for the Louisians.

SLU AGES conducts GEving Back Program    

The SLU Association of Geodetic Engineering Students (AGES) recently wrapped up a successful Louisian GEving Back program, a meaningful initiative that originated from the alumni of SLU-AGES. This program displays the Alumni purpose, together with AGES assistance, to give back to their alma mater by supporting the 24 past SLU-AGES members who took the Geodetic Engineering Licensure Examination (GELE) 2025, which was held last September 29-30, 2025, at the PRC-CAR office, Otek Street, Baguio City.
