SLU-BEdS finishes as Finalist in the National Science and Technology Fair 2024

Lara Annika Paula E. Namoca, a Grade 10 student at the Basic Education School (BEdS), emerged as a finalist in the National Science and Technology Fair 2024 (NSTF 2024), held at Sequoia Hotel in Parañaque City from 1-5 April 2024. Ms. Namoca represented the Cordillera Administrative Region after securing victory in the Regional Science and Technology Fair held in December 2023. In her category, Life Science Individual, 16 projects were submitted from different regions across the Philippines. Only eight projects qualified and advanced as the finalists in the competition. Mr. John Michael A. Guerzon served as her coach and research adviser.

IECEP-SLU SC ignites learning and community harmony with Project Spark

The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – Saint Louis University Student Chapter (IECEP-SLU SC) conducted their Outreach Program entitled “Project Spark: Illuminating Futures with a Festive Heart” on the 23 March 2024 at Helping Hands Healing Hearts Ministries of the Philippines Inc. located at Cosmos Street, Ciudad Grande, Subdivision Phase 1, Baguio.

SLU MinES conducts two-day career opportunities webinar for Mining Engineering students and graduates

The Saint Louis University Mining Engineering Society (SLU MinES) put together a two-day webinar titled “The MINAtatag: Trailblazing Career Opportunities for Mining Engineering Graduates” on 15 and 16 March 2024, where mining engineering students and graduates attended via Zoom Meeting. Different professionals from various sectors also participated giving informative talks on significant angles about mining careers from the academe, government, general services, and private sectors, as well as exploring overseas prospects.
