Competing with over 900 students, 219 schools, 353 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) project entries, and 80 countries, Project DANUM of Team Chromium Crusaders from Saint Louis University Basic Education School (SLU BEdS) garnered a Gold medal on the national level and a Silver medal on the international level during the Gizmos Global STEM Competition 2023 that ran from September to December 2023.
Sixteen administrators from Philippine Higher Education Institutions, State Colleges and Universities, and the Commission on Higher Education were presented as fellows of the UPSKILL Higher Education Innovations Leaders Fellowship during the Quality Assurance Conclave for Higher Education Leaders at the Sofitel Philippines Manila on 13 May 2024. Among the fellows is Engr. Jeffrey Des Binwag, SLU Dean of the School of Engineering and Architecture.

On 23 March 2024, the SLU-SOM Rotaract Club of Baguio embarked on a noble mission to provide essential healthcare services and promote education in the heart of Benguet, Philippines. The Baguio Association of Government Grantees and Scholars (BAGGS) hosted Lumikha: Hope through Art, a paint-for-a-cause held at SLU Incubator for Research, Innovation, and Business (SIRIB Center), Otto Hahn Building, Saint Louis University Main Campus. The event was held on 28 April from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The event aimed to foster creative thinking and promote social impact through the power of visual storytelling.
