On 24-26 November 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU) took an active role by participating in the “Strengthening CSO Engagement through the CivicAdemy Program: Training of Trainers and Official Launch,” hosted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government – Cordillera Administrative Region (DILG-CAR). Held at Plaza Lodge Hotel, Baguio City, the initiative underlined SLU’s commitment to community engagement and sustainable development.

Rising Creatives: SLU Communication Students step into the world of advertising at Adobo Magazine’s “Portfolio Night ‘25”

On 18 November 2025, four Communication students joined “The One Club for Creativity’s Portfolio Night Manila ‘25” hosted by Adobo Magazine, one of the leading and multi-awarded Philippine publications. Held at the Ayala Museum, Makati City, big advertising professionals and other young creatives converged in this passion-filled event that ushered participants the opportunity to connect and showcase their prized portfolios to learn and be honed into industry-ready professionals.

SLU NEOLOUPHIS conducts workshop on meaningful research

The New Louisian Philosophical Society (NEOLOUPHIS) continues to soar higher, louder, wiser, and more philosophical through its newly added session as part of the Research Workshop and Discourse Series held on November 18, 2025. In a meaningful collaboration between the University Libraries (UNL) and American Corner Baguio (AC Baguio), the third session of the series offered a profound exploration of the “what” and “why” of meaningful research. This workshop, a major initiative under Project Innovation, featured two respected speakers in the field of research. In addition, American Corner Baguio provided insights on how to pursue studies abroad.
