On April 13, 2023, the SLU-Industrial Engineering Extension team conducted an extension visit to the Santo Tomas National High School, its partner community, to hold follow-up activities for Project 2 (Set-in-Order) of the program. The initial draft of the teachers and students on the 5S classroom document was refined.
A consensus was also obtained on the classroom layout, the “necessary list,” and the inspection and cleaning procedures to be done in the classrooms. The extension activity was engaging and fruitful. The teachers, students, and the school head could understand and appreciate the value of setting things in order inside the classroom.
