The School of Accounting, Management and Computing Sciences (SAMCIS) organization, SLU Marketing Mixers, launched their long awaited event, “The Big Idea: Discovering 2024’s Marketing Trends and Dynamics” on 4 February 2024. The event was conducted through Zoom cloud meetings and Facebook Live, where SAMCIS attendees from different universities and partner organizations gathered.
“The Big Idea 2024” was put together by the SLU Marketing Mixers for the Junior Marketers, with the objective of serving as a platform where they can learn the trends in the field of Marketing for the upcoming year. The event worked toward providing attendees insight on the developments in marketing and the skills they need to hone in order to dive into these windows for developments.
Several topics were touched on by the speakers, starting with Ms. Jezliah Almasco who discussed and gave insights on the elevation of influencer marketing.
Mr. Louis Smith followed as the second speaker with his topic titled “Redefining Engagement: Mastering Social Media Marketing.”
Lastly, Mr. Alfred John Lozano wrapped up with his presentation which was titled “Beyond the Basics: The Rise of AI Automation in Marketing.”
“The Big Idea 2024”, was overall a successful and fruitful event, also proving to be a significant one as it targets the latest marketing trends and dynamics that are needed in the business world and for future professionals.
With this, Marketing Mixers’ event “The Big Idea 2024” targeted four Sustainable Development Goals which are SDG 4 Quality education, SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 9 Industry, innovation, and infrastructure. It is also aligned with the CICM Advocacy of Justice Peace and Integrity of Creation. (Marketing Mixers)
