In a concerted effort to foster sustainable development and community empowerment, Saint Louis University (SLU) continues its commitment to uplift the lives of coffee farmers in the Benguet province. Now in its second year, SLU’s Benguet Coffee Extension Project embarked on a transformative journey aimed at integrating coffee tourism into the fabric of local communities.
Saint Louis University inked a Memorandum of Agreement with the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) on establishing a network of human milk storage facilities during the ceremonial MOA signing held last 5 February 2024 at the BGHMC Garden. Among those present in the said signing were Dr. Paul Adlai Quitiquit, SLU Hospital Administrator; and Dr. Joselito C. Gutierrez, the Executive Assistant to the SLU President.
SLU conducted a hands-on training on how to start Hydroponics Gardening under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, and in partnership with the University Libraries and American Corner Baguio of the US Embassy at Ungasan, Loakan, Baguio City.
SLU opened its doors to the 31 JHS trainers and 509 Junior High School Teachers during the PEAC In-Service Training for JHS teachers.
