SLU empowers future scientists through SONAHBS outreach program guided by CEOPO

Saint Louis University (SLU), through the SLU Community Extension and Outreach Programs Office (CEOPO) and Biology Department of the School of Nursing, Allied Health, and Biological Sciences (SONAHBS), conducted an outreach program titled “Empowering Future Scientists: Science Laboratory and Field Skills for Science High School Students and Teachers” at San Isidro School of Abatan, Inc., in Buguias, Benguet, on 17 January 2025. The program aimed to enhance the scientific knowledge and practical skills of both students and teachers through hands-on activities such as microscopy and frog dissection. 

MOMFI leads a transformative medical mission in Brgy. Baybay Norte, Sual, Pangasinan

On 12 January 2025, Members of the Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI) proudly spearheaded a transformative medical mission in Brgy. Baybay Norte, Sual, Panagasinan, delivering essential healthcare services directly to underserved members of the community. This mission was conducted in collaboration with Rotary Clubs of San Juan, Angeles, and San Fernando City North.

SLU advances Quality Assurance Goals at AUN-QA International Conference in Vietnam

With its mission and advocacy to strengthen the university’s Quality Assurance mechanism and remain steadfast in its strategic goals and directions, Saint Louis University (SLU) sent two of its administrative officials, Dr. Joselito C. Gutierrez, Executive Assistant to the President; and Mr. Hector L. Martin, Director of the Office of Institutional Development and Quality Assurance (OIDQA), to the 2024 AUN-QA (Asean University Network – Quality Assurance) International Conference in Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 11–14 December 2024. 

SLU hosts the International Volunteers’ Day 2024 Celebration in CAR

In line with the theme, “Igniting Volunteer-led Innovation for Deep Economic and Social Transformation: Bolunterismo Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas,” delegates from different Baguio-Benguet’s International volunteer organizations gathered at the Saint Louis University Incubator for Research, Innovation, and Business Center (SIRIB) to celebrate the International Volunteers’ Day on 06 December 2024.

MOMFI Serves Once Again: Conducts Adivay Medical Mission

The Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI), alongside a dedicated team of doctors, interns, junior interns, and medical students, successfully conducted a medical mission at the Benguet State University Closed Gym, delivering vital healthcare services to the local community. This event took place on 24 November 2024, and provided free consultations, medicines, and vitamins to a total of 336 patients.
