The Big Idea is the latest addition to Marketing Mixers’ flagship events. On 28 January 2023, Marketing Mixers’ Facebook page broadcasted the live event using Zoom Cloud Meetings which started at 1:30 to 3:00 in the afternoon. Its goal is to educate students about the developments and trends in the marketing industry so that aspiring junior marketers can use these knowledge in their future marketing professions.
Over 150 junior marketers and 450 registrants from Saint Louis University (SLU), Silliman University (SU), Central Luzon State University (CLSU), Batangas State University – Lipa Campus (BatStateU), and San Mateo Municipal College (SMMC) gracefully joined the event.
With the knowledge and expertise of the resource speakers, the event was able to meet its objectives. The following speakers and their topics contributed to the discussion on 2023 Marketing Trends:
- Dayniel Garcia of RealMe Philippines discussed the Influence Marketing in 2023;
- Donna Mel Donato of Blogapalooza Inc. talked about Content Marketing in 2023;
- While Cristine Ongson, the President and co-founder of Online Philippines, tackled Marketing Technology in 2023.
This project adheres to the SDG 4: Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 8: Quality Education, to supplement students with essential knowledge that would help them become effective and efficient marketing professionals.
