The Rotaract Club of Baguio Saint Louis University – School of Medicine received the Scroll of Honor Award during the Blood Donor Recognition 2023 ceremony hosted by the Philippine Red Cross on 29 August 2023 at the Newton Plaza Hotel, Baguio City. The said award was given to SLU-SOM for being a Red Cross Partner for the past five years, giving a total of 466 units of blood. Members of the Rotaract SLU-SOM also received a certificate of recognition for the club’s continued association and service.
The Blood Donor Recognition ceremony is an award event by the Philippine Red Cross that commemorates Blood Donation Month and recognizes individuals and communities for their continuing support in saving people’s lives through blood letting programs.
