The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) recognized, anew, the fine caliber of instruction in Saint Louis University by granting accreditation and re-accreditation to various programs of the School of Advanced Studies.
This is a reiteration of, “PAASCU Grants Reaccreditation and Accreditation to SLU Higher Education Programs,” published on 13 June 2023.
Level II reaccreditation was granted to six (6) programs, while sixteen (16) programs were granted initial accreditation.
The following are the SAS programs with Level II Re-Accredited Status valid until November 2027:
- Master of Business Administration Program
- Master of Science in Accountancy Program
- Master of Science in Nursing Program
- Master of Science in Business Administration Program
- Master of Science in Public Management Program
- Doctor of Philosophy in Management Program
In granting re-accreditation, PAASCU has acknowledged and appreciated the continuous work of the School in improving its standards.
SAS Programs that were granted accreditation by PAASCU are the following:
- Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management (valid until November 2025)
- Doctor of Philosophy in Language Education (valid until November 2025)
- Doctor of Philosophy in Management (valid until November 2027)
- Master of Arts in Education (valid until November 2025)
- Master of Arts in Educational Management (valid until November 2025)
- Master of Arts in Philosophy (valid until November 2025)
- Master of Arts in Religious Studies (valid until November 2025)
- Master of Arts in Special Education (valid until November 2025)
- Master of Science in Biology (valid until November 2025)
- Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling (valid until November 2025)
- Master of Science in Psychology (valid until November 2025)
- Master of Science in Nursing (valid until November 2027)
- Master of Science in Public Management (valid until November 2027)
- Master of Business Administration (valid until November 2027)
- Master of Science in Accountancy (valid until November 2027)
- Master of Science in Business Administration (valid until November 2027)
The programs went through the accreditation process based on specific areas in PAASCU Quality Standards– including Leadership and Governance, Quality Assurance, Resource Management, Teaching-Learning, Student Services, External Relations, Research, and Results.
The PAASCU Accreditation results have become a winning streak for SLU in its commitment to academic excellence.
