The pre-service science teachers from SLU-School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts placed second in the FuSES Scilympics 2023 at Benguet State University last April 20, 2023. Mr. Benedict Alfiler and Mr. Nyki Bacolong got second place in the Pictionary category, while Mr. Mark Joseph Olidan, Mr. Arvin Rualo, and Ms. Kiara Regueta took second place in the Science Race category.
With the theme “Building Science Understanding through Educational Games”, the activity aims to enrich science literacy among students through educational games.
Gratitude is given to the SLU Administration (Rev. Fr. Gilbert Sales, CICM), Dr. Felina Espique (Dean, STELA), Dr. Dorothy Silva (Department Head, Professional Education), and Dr. Bryan Catama (College Supervisor) for the support they continuously give to the students.
