SLU Hosts Climate Change Summit 

With the theme Eco-Consciousness and Technology: Exploring Sustainable Living in the Digital Era, Saint Louis University’s (SLU), through its University Research and Innovation Center (UnRiC), Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), and CICM Community Extensions and Outreach Programs, hosted the City Government of Baguio-sponsored climate change summit at the Fr. Francis Gevers Hall, SLU, on 24 October 2023.

SLU Represents CEAP and COCOPEA Private Schools in Senate Public Hearing of the Committee on Basic Education MATATAG Curriculum 

Upon the request of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) and the Coordinating Council for Private Educational Associations (COCOPEA), Saint Louis University represented the private schools of CEAP and COCOPEA during the Senate Public Hearing of the Committee on Basic Education held last 18 October 2023.

IPEd Coordinators Dive into Cordillera Music and Dances at Saint Louis University Workshop

In a concerted effort to celebrate and promote the rich indigenous cultures of the Cordillera region, Saint Louis University (SLU) organized a free training workshop on Cordillera music and dances. This workshop, held on 21 October 2023 at the Prince Bernhard Gym, welcomed Indigenous Peoples Education (IPEd) coordinators in public and private schools throughout Baguio City. 

Inspiring English Education: American Corner Baguio and SLU-UNSDG Center hold English Language Enrichment Session

American Corner Baguio and the Saint Louis University United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Center (SLU-UNSDG Center) spearheaded the conduct of an English Language Enrichment Session at the Audio-Visual Room of the Msgr. Charles Vath Library Building, SLU to empower and equip educators with innovative teaching strategies. 

BSCS and BSIT Research Collaboration with Benguet Coffee Project

SLU BSCS and BSIT Capstone Teams Engage in Data Collection for Benguet Coffee Project Research

The capstone project research teams from the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) of Saint Louis University (SLU) visited the coffee farm of Mr. Eli Natividad of Farm to Cup Benguet, an extension partner of the Benguet Coffee Project, to collect images of the different coffee varieties such as Robusta, Liberica, and Excelsa at Dueg, San Clemente, Tarlac.
