The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – Saint Louis University (JPIA-SLU) once again rose to the national stage as John Trif Pacho represented the organization in the prestigious National Accounting Quiz Showdown (NAQDown) held on October 19, 2025, at the SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV) Office in Makati City.
In partnership with the European Union in the Philippines (EU-PH) Green Economy Partnership, Saint Louis University (SLU) participated in the Local Government Units (LGUs) Project Workshop alongside other schools on 29 October 2025 held at SLU Msgr. Charles Vath Audio-Visual Room, SLU Main Campus.

In September 2025, the New Louisian Philosophical Society (NEOLOUPHIS), the student organization of the Department of Philosophy under the Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) formally launched its two new initiatives: “QUEER Project”—an acronym for Quality, Undergraduate, Engaged, Exploratory Research– and “Project Innovation”.

From 24-26 October 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU), through the faculty of the Department of Accountancy (DOA), the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), and dedicated student volunteers, carried out its three-day board operations in unwavering support of Louisian examinees for the October 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (LECPA). To ensure a strong and deeply personal Louisian presence throughout the examination period, the initiative extended across the three official testing centers in Baguio City: PRC-CAR, Baguio Palace Hotel, and Skyrise Hotel.
Saint Louis University (SLU) as a catalyst for transformative education hosts the first ever Regional Higher Education Statistical Symposium (RHESS) of the Commission on Higher Education Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) from 28 to 29 October 2025 at the Fr. Theophile Verbist Hall, SLU Sacred Heart Medical Center. The symposium gathered various groups including state universities, private higher education institutions, LGUs, and student leaders.
On 21 October 2025, the New Louisian Philosophical Society(NEOLOUPHIS), the co-curricular organization of the Philosophy Department of Saint Louis University’s (SLU) School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) conducted a workshop seminar in collaboration with the SLU Center for Counseling and Wellness (CCW) with the theme, “Empowering Student Leaders: A Workshop on Building Skills for Supporting Vulnerable Populations.”
