SLU holds stakeholders’ consultation workshop on food upcycling 

Saint Louis University (SLU), through the University Research and Innovation Center (UnRIC), hosts the “‘Stakeholders’ Consultation Meeting and Workshop” as part of the Flemish Interuniversities Council University Development Co-operation or Vlaamse Interuniversitaire Raad Universitaire Ontwikkelingssamenwerking (VLIR UOS)-funded project, “From Trash to Treasure: Paving Pathways for Food Upcycling to Curb Post-Harvest Losses in the Vegetable Supply Chain of the Cordillera Administrative Region in the Philippines.” This project is being implemented in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural Economics and Faculty of Bioscience Engineering of Ghent University in Belgium.

Saint Louis University (SLU), in partnership with Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), City Government of Baguio, and the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources- Environmental Management Bureau- Cordillera Administrative Region (DENR-EMB-CAR), once again demonstrated its progressive environmental movement during the launch of the Electronic Waste Management Campaign marked by the rollout of the electronic waste (e-waste) bin on 27 February 2025 at Diego Silang Bldg, SLU Main Campus.

Louisians rank 4th, 8th in the February 2025 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Exam

Adding to its list of topnotchers across various fields, Saint Louis University (SLU) produced two new topnotchers in the persons of Lorie Jay S. Dela Cruz who ranked fourth with 90.80% rating and Chance B. Baladad who placed eighth with 89.50% rating in the February 2025 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Exam (MELE). This was announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on 24 February 2025.
