SLU hosts send-off ceremony for SEA-Teacher International Exchange Students

Saint Louis University-School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (SLU-STELA) hosted a send-off program for the inaugural group of International Exchange Students participating in the 10th batch of the SEA-Teacher Project, organized by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO). This event occurred on October 18, 2024, at the P700 Perfecto Building in SLU’s Main Campus.

SLU seals partnership with IIE for scholars from Myanmar

To solidify partnership for scholarships, Saint Louis University (SLU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Institute of International Education (IIE), the contractor for the Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship Program (DISP) funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID), alongside scholars from Myanmar on 5 September 2024, at the Burgos Conference Room, Administrative Building, SLU Main Campus.

Horizons Unveiled: Pioneering Partnership and Collaboration Summit for Philippines-Taiwan Medical Universities

Spearheaded by the Taiwan Education Center in the Philippines, the 2024 Taiwan-Philippines Medical University Leaders’ Forum was held from 7-10 May 2024 in Taipei, Taiwan and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Thirteen (13) Philippine medical schools were invited to participate in this event; which included our very own Saint Louis University – School of Medicine (SLU-SOM), represented by Dr. Judrelle Krizia C. Mariano, DPSP and Dr. Stephenie O. Busbus, PhD (Chair, Institutional Reputation and Effectiveness Committee and Professor of SLU – School of Advanced Studies).

Internatinalization Week

SLU holds 2024 Internationalization Week to foster cultural diversity, global engagement

Saint Louis University (SLU) held the opening ceremony of the four-day Internationalization Week organized by the Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs (OGRAA) on 23 April 2024 at the Fr. Francis Gevers Hall, Diego Silang Building, SLU Main Campus. With the theme, “Celebrating Diversity, Connecting Cultures,” international students, school administrators, faculty members and promoters of internationalization took part in the celebration of the pursuit and accomplishments of internationalization.
