Promoting awareness of cybersecurity threats, Saint Louis University’s (SLU) Data Privacy Office (DPO), Technology Management and Development Department (TMDD), and the School of Accountancy, Management, Computing and Information Studies (SAMCIS) partnered with Trend Micro Philippines to host the 2024 Cyber Defense Society Conference at the Prince Bernhard Gymnasium, SLU Main Campus, on 15 March 2024.
To mark a significant milestone in the pursuit of quality management, the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Closing Meeting was held at the Fr. Joseph Van den Daelen, CICM- Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA)Theatre on 15 March 2024. The Chief Justice Manuel V. Moran Community Legal Assistance Office (CJMM CLAO) conducted a Free Legal Aid and Notarization last 26 February to 2 March 2024, during Session Road in Bloom 2024. Through its Law Student Practitioners (LSPs) who rendered services under the supervision of their Supervising Lawyers (SLs), the CJMM CLAO gave legal advice and offered free notarization to locals and tourists alike, extending its community work to a total of 112 clients.
The School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) through the collaboration with the SEA Dean’s Office, faculty, student organizations, and SLU canteen partners, conducted “The KuSEAna Project” at the Otto Hahn Building, SLU Main Campus on 28, 29 February and 1 March 2024 to offer hefty breakfast for students.
On 24 February 2024, the Rotaract Club of Baguio SLU – School of Medicine spearheaded a medical mission with the presence of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Baguio City Chapter at the Malcolm Square Baguio City.
