For valentine’s day, the School of Engineering and Architecture Honor Society (SEAHS) organized the booth “Cornelia Booth” on 12 and 15 February 2024, at the front of Otto Hahn Building at the Main Campus.
Drawing inspiration from Taylor Swift’s enchanting “Cornelia Street” song, the booth was a delightful blend of romance and innovation, with an indirect incorporation of what SEAHS is known for.
The Probies of the organization who took the lead in this activity poured their passion and collaborative efforts into crafting an experience that celebrated love in all its forms. Flowers and flower bouquets were also purchasable at the booth, along with treats and sweet delicacies from homemade cookies to sweet cupcakes.
The organization also incorporated its classic trivia questions at the booth that tested students’ knowledge of love songs, films, and intriguing facts about Valentine’s Day and love in general. From classic ballads to iconic movie scenes, the trivia created an engaging atmosphere.
In it’s celebration of Valentine’s day, the organization crafted this booth in alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong institutions) and the CICM Advocacy of Justice and Peace with its inclusive nature and objective of celebrating a day of love.
