Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM attends Conference on Pastoral Care in Catholic Universities in Vatican City

As the President of both Saint Louis University and the Association of Catholic Universities of the Philippines (ACUP), Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, attended the conference on Pastoral Care in Catholic Universities that centered on the theme, “Towards a Polyhedric Vision: Strengthening Catholic Campus Ministry for Spiritual Nurturing, Cultural Engagement, and Community Building” from 23 to 25 November 2023 at the Vatican City, Rome.  The said Conference included a series of lectures, roundtable discussions, workshop, and an immersive experience through a rare audience with His Holiness, Pope Francis. 

Enchanting melodies fill the air as SLU Glee Club and Tarlac Männerchor unite for Cantate Domino concert

In a celebration of music and harmony, the Saint Louis University (SLU) Glee Club and Tarlac Männerchor joined forces to present “Cantate Domino,” a magical choir concert on 29 November 2023 at the Fr. Joseph Van Den Daelen, CICM-Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA) Theater. The event captivated audiences with its diverse repertoire of choral pieces, showcasing the exceptional talent and passion of both choirs. 

SLU Joins 18th NAKEM Annual International Conference

With the theme Herstories and Histories of Diversity: Narrating (Im) migrants and Multiple Lives and Engaging the Community from the Margins, Saint Louis University (SLU) participated in the 18th NAKEM International Conference and Cultural Night at Newark-Fremont, California, USA. This year’s conference was hosted by NAKEM (National Alliance for Knowledge, Empowerment, and Meaning) on 15 to 17 November 2023 at DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Newark, CA.

SLU School of Law hosts two-day Colloquium on Public International Law

The School of Law (SOL) of Saint Louis University (SLU) conducted a two-day colloquium on Public International Law from 21 to 22 November 2023 at the Fr. Joseph Van den Daelen – Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA) Theater. The event featured discussions by renowned experts on international law and provided a forum for law students and faculty from Baguio and Benguet to engage in discussions on critical global issues.
