SLU Joins the Consultation Workshop for Enhancing the Evaluation Process of the LEPT

The Teacher Education Council, facilitated by the Quality Pre-Service Teacher Education Office of its Secretariat, led the organization of the “Consultation Workshop for Enhancing the Evaluation Process of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT),” from 24 to 26 April 2024, at the Pages Hall, Baguio Teachers’ Camp, Baguio City, in accordance with the Republic Act No. 7784, as amended by Republic Act No. 11713, also known as the “Excellence in Teacher Education Act”.

Saint Louis University (SLU) held the 15th Gawad San Luis for Students Awards on 8 May 2024 at the Fr. Joseph Van den Daelen – Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA) Theater, SLU Main Campus. The annual awards ceremony recognizes the excellence and commitment of the different student organizations and publications of SLU in upholding the University’s mission and vision and carrying out their oathed duty to the Lousian community. 

Nuclear Energy

SLU SEA and DOE organize 2024 Symposium of Nuclear Energy 

To raise awareness on the Nuclear Industry in the Philippines, Saint Louis University’s (SLU) School of Architecture and Engineering, in partnership with the Nuclear Energy Program Inter-Agency Committee (NEP-AC) Subcommittee 4- Human Resource Infrastructure from the Department of Energy (DOE), hosted the Nuclear Energy Summit on 8 May 2024 at the Fr. Francis Gevers Hall, Diego Silang Building, SLU Main Campus. 

“Project MaTuto” mass tutorial initiative by SEAHS continues to help SEA students

The School of Engineering and Architecture Honor Society (SEAHS) embarked on a mission to support SEA students in their academic journey through Project MaTuto. Initially targeting freshmen and sophomores preparing for preliminary examinations in September 2023, this initiative has evolved into a cornerstone of academic support within the School of Engineering and Architecture at Saint Louis University.

SEAHS recommences “Project MaTuto” mass tutorial in preparation for Midterm Exams

Saint Louis University’s School of Engineering and Architecture Honor Society (SEAHS) continued “Project Matuto” for the Midterm examinations on 5 and 6 April 2024, at the Otto Hahn Building, SLU Main Campus. In continuation of the partnership with the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers – JSLUC’s Peer ChEtorials (PICHE-JSLUC), this initiative advances toward the midterm, being hosted by SEAHS members.

SLU-SOM Rotaract Club conducts Outreach Program in Itogon Benguet

On 23 March 2024, the SLU-SOM Rotaract Club of Baguio embarked on a noble mission to provide essential healthcare services and promote education in the heart of Benguet, Philippines. Spearheading a Medical Outreach program at Gold Creek Elementary School in Ucab, Itogon, the club showcased the power of collaborative efforts in uplifting communities and addressing fundamental needs.

SLU, Quipper Philippines conduct symposium for school administrators

Steadfast in its mission in providing quality education, Saint Louis University (SLU), in partnership with Quipper Philippines, took the lead in convening school administrators and education leaders from Regions 1, 2, and the Cordillera Administrative Region in the seminar titled, “Navigating the Digital Age: A Quipper’s Symposium for Administrators,” held at the Gonzaga Gym, St. Aloysius De Gonzaga Campus on 27 April 2024.
