The SAMCIS – Young Entrepreneurs’ Society’s Business Training Series 1, themed “Mindset in the Entrepreneurial Journey,” provided its members with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in business via Zoom.
In line with combating the rising prevalence of diabetic retinopathy and related vision-threatening conditions, the Rotaract Club of Baguio Saint Louis University – School of Medicine (SLU-SOM) took center stage in a collaborative health initiative. Partnering with the Baguio Eye Doctor’s Clinic, headed by Dr. Ars Mondiguing, and Middle Quezon, represented by Dr. Anna Banta, District Health Officer, Rotaract SLU-SOM assisted in the recent Diabetic Retinopathy Screening and free reading glasses giving in October 2023.
Rotaract Club of Saint Louis University (SLU) – School of Medicine recently conducted a two-day surgical and medical mission at Barangay Gomez in Llanera, Nueva Ecija.
In celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month, the Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI), in partnership with various organizations, provided medical and dental services to the constituents of La Trinidad, Benguet, last 19 October 2023.
With the aim to bring services closer to the community, the Rotaract Club of Baguio SLU – School of Medicine assisted the Red Cross Health Caravan held on 10 and 24 September at Malcolm Square, Baguio City.
Through a coordination meeting held on 22 September 2023, SLU further strengthened its Community Extension Program with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples-Cordillera Administrative Region (NCIP-CAR) and the partner community in Sitio Domolpos, Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet.
In celebration of Basic Education and Literacy Month, the Department of Labor and Employment represented by Mr Patrick Rillorta (Department of Labor Officer III), the Rotaract Club of Baguio (RCB) Summer Capital Headed by Pres. Roland Wong, and the Rotaract Club of SLU – SOM shared school bags and school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, including face masks and ascorbic acid syrup to students at the Nangalisan Elementary School at Tuba, Benguet through Project Angel Tree.
The MOMFI provided free medical services to the people of Umangan, Mangatarem, Pangasinan. The mission was supported by Agkapita Coffee Shop, a coffee shop known to be in the middle of a rice field.
The Medical Outreach Mission Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI) conducts free medical consultations and patient education at Pudoc West, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.
