On 24 October 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU) received a certificate from the Laudato Si’ Action Platform, recognizing the university’s genuine and active commitment to the ecological conversion inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’.
The New Louisian Philosophical Society (NEOLOUPHIS), the student organization of the Philosophy Department of the Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) conducted two outreach projects under Project Kuwago namely, Project Mangkok held on 18 October 2025, and Project Dunong, a book donation drive held on 20 October 2025.

Sales, CICM, PhD, university president, launched the STAR (School Training for Advancement and Recalibration) Program. This flagship initiative aims to strengthen partnerships with Catholic schools in the region (Saint Theresita’s School of Kapangan, Kapangan, Benguet; San Alfonso High School, Sabangan, Mt. Province; and Saint Theresita’s School in Balbalan, Kalinga) in collaboration with higher education institutions.
On 20 October 2025, Saint Louis University (SLU) Department of Accountancy held a meaningful event dedicated to the October 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountant (LECPA) examinees. The send-off mass and final coaching were organized in collaboration with the SLU Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA). They provided a holistic experience that supported the participants’ academic, emotional, and spiritual preparation.
Aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, a comprehensive Data Privacy Awareness Training was held on 18 October 2025 at Holy Spirit Academy in Bangued, Abra, for principals and registrars of the Diocesan Schools of Abra. The training aimed to promote responsible data stewardship and institutional accountability in the digital era.
Promoting both public health and cultural awareness, the Rotaract Club of Saint Louis University, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Eastern Pampanga, Pines City College of Dentistry, and the Sangguniang Kabataan of West Modernsite, conducted a half-day Dental Mission on 12 October 2025, at the West Modernsite Barangay Hall. The initiative aligned with the Rotary Year’s theme, “Unite for Good,” which highlights the importance of collaboration and collective service for the community.
